  • ESPADÍN

    Espadín, the most widely cultivated agave variety for mezcal, showcases its distinctive features with its towering, sword-shaped leaves that shield the piña—the heart of the agave plant. It takes approximately 5 to 8 years for an espadín agave to fully mature and develop its optimal flavor profile. At every stage, from planting the seedling to the moment of bottling, we hold a deep reverence for the process and approach each step with utmost care and intention.

    An agave hailing from the scenic region of Michoacán, Mexico. Cupreata, a wild agave variety, is highly regarded for its exceptional flavor equilibrium and takes 8 to 10 years to mature. Thriving in its untamed habitat at an elevation of 5000 feet, tobalá takes a remarkable 12 to 17 years to reach full maturity. It comes as no surprise that this particular agave species yields a mezcal that is exquisitely intricate, alluringly seductive, and unbelievably smooth.

    Introducing tepemete, the latest inclusion in our exclusive collection of premium black bottled mezcals. Notable for its scarcity, Tepemete is a wild agave known for its gentle and refined taste, making it a beloved choice among enthusiasts. Hailing from the rugged mountains of Durango, Mexico, tepemete requires 10 to 12 years to reach full maturity before it is ready to be harvested by hand and transported by donkeys due to the steep terrain where it grows.
